Welcome! The Office of Science PreK-12 works in collaboration with all stakeholders to define the vision for science education and to provide leadership for the development, implementation, and assessment of that vision for the Baltimore County Public Schools. These efforts are all directed toward one goal; enhancing achievement in science for all students.

Additionally, the Office of Science:

• works in concert with national, state, and local educational agencies to ensure alignment of the curriculum with science standards
• collaborates with colleges and universities, businesses, and industry to forge partnerships that further programs and resources
• works with school administrators and teachers to implement the science curriculum in the classroom
• provides resources to develop substantive science literacy in all students.
