"The important thing is not to stop questioning"

Welcome!

The Office of Science PreK-12 works in collaboration with all stakeholders to define the vision for science education and to provide leadership for the development, implementation, and assessment of that vision in science for the Baltimore County Public Schools. These efforts are all directed toward one goal; enhancing achievement for all students in science. The Office of Science PreK-12 works in concert with state and local educational agencies, colleges and universities, businesses, industry, school administrators, teachers, and parents to forge partnerships that further program goals and access resources.

The Baltimore County Envirothon Competition was held on April 23rd at the Days Cove Area of Gunpowder State Park. Eighteen BCPS High School Teams competed in this event. The winning team from Eastern Technical will advance to the Maryland Envirothon Competition which will be held at Harford Glen Environmental Education Center in Harford County from Tuesday, June 17th through Thursday, June 19th. Good Luck to them. The second place team was from Perry Hall and the third place team was from Western School of Technology. Congratulations to all the students that competed.
