Great Beginnings – a special opportunity for new teachers graduating in December

For new teachers graduating in December, Baltimore County Public School’s Great Beginnings initiative offers a unique opportunity. Teachers hired through Great Beginnings start work mid-year in an adjunct capacity with one or more experienced teachers. This arrangement provides students with additional direct instructional time, provides additional support for the experienced teachers, and allows new teachers to gain confidence and experience in the classroom, benefit from the wisdom of veteran educators, and begin earning tenure.
