Staffing Change Request

This form is a word document and will serve as verification of personnel actions for principals and teachers.

Staffing Change Request Form Highlights

  • Form replaces Preliminary Selection Form
  • Complete only the section(s) that apply; one form for each personnel action
  • Completion of form

    Section A – Voluntary Transfer Request (Former Preliminary Selection Form)
    Completed by receiving school
    Submit to Personnel Office prior to Staff Review Meeting

    Section B –Internal Personnel Change Request (Examples: FTE – change from 1.0 to .5; Budget – change from Title One to Operating; Subject – change from Math to Science)
    Submit to Personnel Office continuously for changes not included on the Organization Worksheet

    Section C
    – New Hire Request (complete for the selection of new hires)
    Submit to Personnel Office continuously

  • Form is always available on-line
  • Form can be reproduced and submitted as a hard copy

Electronically

  • Go to BCPS website,
  • Click on Offices (left side)
  • Click on Personnel (alpha listing)
  • Click on forms/applications (left side)
  • Click on Staffing Change Request Form (upper right-hand corner)
  • Type in information.
  • Save form to your computer. 
  • Email to the Personnel Officer for the subject area (links to be available) with copies to all principals and the employee affected.

Personnel Officers will “forward” confirmations to Area Assistant Superintendent, Receiving Principal, Sending Principal, employee, and Position Management.
