On May 15, 2009, VALIC/ARSCO will assume the responsibility for coordinating and monitoring loan and hardship withdrawal requests from BCPS employees. Employees should:

• Contact their 403b company representative, obtain information about their loan and/or hardship withdrawal eligibility, and request and complete the appropriate forms.
• Go on-line and, using the Employee's Guide, complete the appropriate eligibility certificate. Print the certificate and return it and the 403b company's loan/hardship withdrawal forms to the company. Do NOT send the paperwork to VALIC/ARSCO (unless VALIC is your 403b company).

Your 403b company will review the completed loan/hardship withdrawal paperwork and the eligibility certificate. If approved, the company will process the paperwork and issue the check to you.
