Summer Programs

BCPS offers a variety of summer school programs.  These programs are funded by the central operating budget, special education, Title I, and by individual school budgets.  Special time sheets are available for reporting the time worked by summer employees.  Please note:  employees MUST provide their full social security numbers and initial the appropriate time sheets in order to be paid.  The chart below provides links to instructions and forms that should be used to report the time worked by 10-month teachers, summer office professionals/clericals, nurses, and paraeducators who are employed by these programs.  Questions?  Contact Roxanne Hoover, Payroll Supervisor, 4240 x 257, Pat Keller, Lead Payroll Clerk, 4240 x 247, or your area payroll clerk at 4240.  Other contacts are:  Mike Kulansky, Office of Alternative Education, Drop-out Prevention, and Summer School at 2883; Melissa Lembo, Office of Special Education at 3660; and Mary Dagen or Ernestine Jones, Office of Title I, 3487.

* The Office of Special Education will prepare and distribute work/time logs for speech language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and other specialized personnel.  These employees will report their time worked to the Office of Special Education, att.:  Ruthie Goldberg, 3660.  Special education personal assistants are paid on the alternate week from teachers and administrators.  There are separate time sheets for personal assistants to initial and report their hours worked each pay period.  These time sheets should be sent to the Office of Payroll according to the schedule appearing on the bottom of the time sheets.
