Middle School Programs

Mass Communication

This program focuses on a student’s ability to write, speak, and listen in a professional broadcast setting. Using the communication model as a framework, students receive instruction in the use of communication technology, including television and radio broadcasting, video production, desktop publishing, and web design. Teamwork is developed as students work together to produce a variety of programs, including daily news broadcasts, over a closed circuit television system.

Programs in Mass Communication, Television & Radio, and Multimedia exist at the high school level. In addition, students will be prepared to participate in high school journalism, yearbook, debate, and mock trial programs.
