Middle School Magnet Programs
Whole-School Magnet Middle School Programs: Deep Creek Middle School, Lansdowne Middle School
Whole-school programs enhance students’ academic skills through innovative hands-on learning. The whole-school programs are focused on 21st century career and technology themes. All students in the school participate in the magnet themes in grades 6, 7, and 8. The middle school themes are designed to complement the high school academy programs at Chesapeake and Lansdowne High Schools.
Middle School Magnet Programs: Students interested in the programs listed below may apply directly to a specific magnet program. Some restrictions may apply. Courses begin in the 6th grade. By selecting a program link below, applicants will be able to review program descriptions, career information, and research links to learn more about the opportunities to which these programs will lead. Program descriptions also indicate where the program is offered and who may apply.
