Applied Engineering
The Applied Engineering program provides students with a range of opportunities to explore the many aspects of engineering, both in theory and in practical applications. Students study electricity, automotive technology, hydraulics, aeronautics, buoyancy, magnetism, construction, forces, and many other topics.
This program provides a foundation for students who wish to continue in a high school magnet program in engineering, science, or math.

Program Offered: Applied Engineering (All magnet students participate in this program for one quarter of their first year. Students may elect to continue their study of Applied Engineering in Grades 7 and 8.)
Applications accepted from students in all attendance areas. Transportation is provided for students zoned to attend Deep Creek, Dundalk, General John Stricker, Golden Ring, Holabird, Middle River, Parkville, Sparrows Point, or Stemmers Run Middle School. |
