High School Magnet Programs
Magnet Academy Programs: Students participating in these academy programs are given the opportunity to develop as well as demonstrate academic and vocational skills through project-based learning activities. In addition, students will have the opportunity to participate in job shadowing and internships, earn college credit for some high school classes, and take courses at local colleges. For all Academy programs, except the Academy of Finance, students participate in a 9th grade exploratory program and then select their academy for 10th grade.
High School Magnet Programs: Students apply directly to the magnet programs listed below. Courses begin in either the 9th or the 10th grade and some require pre-requisite mathematics courses. By selecting a program link below, applicants will be able to review program descriptions, and research links to learn more about the career opportunities to which these programs will lead. Program descriptions also indicate where the program is offered, who may apply, and for whom transportation is provided.
