High School Programs

Academy of Leadership & Humanities

This academy allows students to explore topics and develop their interests in Criminal Justice and Marine JROTC.

Criminal Justice – Students are prepared to apply technical information, computer technology, and broad knowledge in the growing field of criminal justice for entry-level positions and continued education.  Students develop specific skills in communication, first aid and CPR, human relations, criminal law, and criminalistics.  Students have the opportunity to earn articulated college credit. 

Marine JROTC – Students gain information and skills valuable for life-long learning.  The military science focuses on living the leadership traits and core values of honor, courage, and commitment.  Students practice self-discipline, teamwork, and citizenship through leadership experiences, career exploration, and general military subjects.

Program Title: Academy of Leadership
Applications accepted for entering ninth graders from all attendance areas.  Transportation is provided for students zoned to attend Kenwood or Patapsco High School.
