Elementary
School Programs
Math, Science, Communication, and/or Fine Arts
In conjunction with active participation in community-based programs, these programs allow students to participate in authentic learning situations beyond the Baltimore County Public Schools’ curricula. Students participate in activities that enhance and enrich their regular classroom experiences in science, math, and the fine arts (literary, visual, and/or performance). Hands-on and cooperative learning are emphasized.
Technology is used to enhance Instruction. Students may use multi-media to produce morning TV announcements, to participate in a number of creative and technical writing projects, and to demonstrate and extend their learning.
Specific design and content of the program will differ slightly at each school so parents are advised to call and attend open houses for details.
