Elementary Magnet Application

• Please review the elementary magnet program offerings at the link on the right side of this page.
• The application deadline is Friday, November 30, 2007. 
• Read all instructions in the Elementary Magnet Brochure and Application prior to submitting.  Applications postmarked after or received without a postmark after November 30, 2007 will not be processed.  It is strongly recommended that applicants use Certified Mail, with a return receipt requested from the U.S. Post Office, for proof of submission.
• Kindergarten applicants MUST meet the Maryland Age of Entry requirements (Age 5 by 9/1/08), or MUST have applied for Early Admission with their zoned elementary schools.  A copy of the Early Kindergarten Admission Application must be attached to the Magnet Application.
• Any program selection change requests require the submission of a new application, postmarked or hand delivered on or before the application deadline.
• The Elementary Magnet Application packet is in PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open.  This program may be downloaded for free at the link on the magnet office home page.  If you are unable to open this file, please contact your local school for an application.
