Identify Your Learning Preference:
Visual Learners
![]() |
Learners who prefer to learn visually like to "see" concepts so they can understand them. They like viewing graphs, overheads, PowerPoint presentations, flip charts, and illustrations. Visual learners may try to sit in the front of the classroom so they can easily see what is being presented. They watch the teacher's body language and expressions to help interpret the content of a lesson. They often take notes and use highlighters to help bring attention to important information. A visual learner will use expressions such as, "I can picture that" or "I see what you're saying" when comunicating that they understand something. |
TIP
![]() ONLINE If you are a Visual Learner, how could this impact your success in an online course? When working online, the visual learner may find it helpful to download and/or print course material and resources so that key information can be highlighted or underlined.
