Prerequisite: Using Word in the Teaching and Learning Process

Course Objective(s):

  • The participant will create a table using Microsoft Word in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching/learning process.
  • The participant will create a form using Microsoft Word in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching/learning process.
  • The participant will use Reviewing tools to edit another’s work.
  • The participant will create and modify AutoShapes and Clip Art.
  • The participant will use the help features to research tips and tricks for Word 2003 in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching/learning process.
  • The participant will create a scoring tool to assess the integration of technology into the teaching/learning process.
  • The participant will create a lesson in which they integrate Word into the teaching/learning process.
  • The participant will create a Word document that accompanies the lesson they create for integrating Word into the teaching/learning process.
  • The participant will share their completed Word Inservice Activity Template and Word document in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching/learning process.
