After reviewing sample websites and designing your storyboards, think
about what the most important design elements are in a teacher's website.
Discuss your ideas with your classmates. Use these ideas to design your website.
If you consider yourself a "beginner" when it comes to developing a teacher website using the BCPS template, open the
Teacher Website Manual and follow the instructions for Finding Images and Resources on page 4.
Prior to developing your website you will need to gather all the files you need. To do this, create a folder on your computer or flash drive named Teacher Website that will house all the files you will use in your website (e.g., pictures, class syllabus, etc.). Within the Teacher Website folder, create two subfolders: Website Images and Website Resources. Find all the files you want to upload to your website and save to the appropriate subfolder. The following resources are provided to help you find images that are copyright free as well as modify existing images.
