Using PowerPoint in the Teaching and
Learning Environment
Prerequisite:
You must have basic computer skills to participate in this
class.
Course Objectives:
- The
participant will create a basic slide show using Microsoft
PowerPoint in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology
in the teaching and learning process.
- The
participant will create an animated slide show using objects
from the Drawing Toolbar in order to demonstrate
the ability to use technology in the teaching/learning process.
- The
participant will add sound to a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation
in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in
the teaching and learning process.
- The
participant will create a scoring tool for the presentation
they created that addresses both content and technology.
- The
participant will insert annotation into a Microsoft PowerPoint
presentation in order to demonstrate the ability to use
technology in the teaching and learning process.
- The
participant will create a lesson in which they integrate
Microsoft PowerPoint into the teaching and learning process.
- The
participant will use the Diagram Gallery in Microsoft
PowerPoint in order to integrate technology into the teaching/learning
process.
- The
participant will share their completed Microsoft PowerPoint
Inservice Activity Template and presentation in order
to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching
and learning process.
