Using Excel in the Teaching and Learning
Process
Prerequisite: You must have basic computer skills to
participate in this class.
Course Objectives:
- The participant will create a chart using Microsoft Excel in order
to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching and learning
process.
- The participant will use a scoring tool to evaluate a chart created
in Microsoft Excel and use Microsoft Excel to create a chart to analyze
data in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching
and learning process.
- The participant will use the database features in Microsoft Excel
in order to analyze the nutritive value of foods as an example to demonstrate
the ability to use technology in the teaching and learning process.
- The participant will create a simple quiz using Microsoft Excel in
order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching and
learning process.
- The participant will create a technology integrated learning activity
and a scoring tool incorporating Microsoft Excel in order to demonstrate
the ability to use technology in the teaching and learning process.
