Using Advanced PowerPoint in the Teaching

Prerequisite: Using PowerPoint in the Teaching and Learning
Process
Course Objective(s):
- The participant will create an interactive presentation using Microsoft
PowerPoint in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in
the teaching/learning process.
- The participant will create an interactive presentation using Microsoft
PowerPoint by inserting Text Box Objects and Hyperlinks to other files
in order to demonstrate the ability to use technology in the teaching/learning
process.
- Participants will create a PowerPoint presentation using elements
of effective design in order to integrate technology into the teaching/learning
process.
- Participants will create a scoring tool for assessing the integration
of technology into the teaching/learning process.
- The participant will create a lesson in which they integrate PowerPoint
into the teaching/learning process.
- The participant will create a PowerPoint presentation that accompanies
the lesson they create for integrating PowerPoint into the teaching/learning
process.
- Participants will use the insert comments feature of PowerPoint
as a method of providing each other with feedback on their PowerPoint
product.
- The participant will share the completed PowerPoint Inservice
Activity Template and presentation in order to demonstrate the ability
to use technology in the teaching/learning process.
