Technology Integration Teachers
Making a Difference for All Elementary Students
Elementary Technology Integration Teachers are a vital part
of the elementary school program. As teachers, they develop
and deliver technology-integrated lessons that support the
curriculum and meet the BCPS Educational Technology Learning
Goals and Indicators PreK - 12. In addition, they
provide leadership in the school by working collaboratively
with classroom teachers to facilitate the integration
of technology across the curriculum, both in the computer
lab and in the classroom.
Responsibilities of the Elementary
Technology Integration Teachers include:
- Providing
differentiated instruction using technology to meet individual
learning requirements and to support a variety of learning
styles and modalities.
- Assisting in the design
and implementation of professional development in technology
integration for school staff, based on the Maryland Teacher
Technology Standards and the Technology Skills Continuum
for Professional Development.
- Providing limited technology support to
teachers and perform minor maintenance and/or make arrangements
for necessary repairs of technology resources.
