Using approved Maryland State Department of Education curriculum and the outdoors as an integrating context, Baltimore County Public Schools partners with NorthBay Adventures to provide middle school students with a chance to experience real science. Students are afforded an interactive experience with Chesapeake Bay science and preservation through opportunities for meaningful data collection, documentation, and reporting at local and regional science centers. These opportunities challenge students to realize their attitudes and actions have a lasting impact on their future and environment.
