To assist schools in addressing achievement among students classified as minority-based on race and ethnicity, low socioeconomic status, and disability status, Baltimore County Public Schools offers an opportunity for schools to obtain supplemental funding through the Accel and Excel Grant Program. In this program, schools may apply for grants up to $15,000 to fund school-based initiatives to increase academic achievement. Schools are requested to ask for grant amounts as needed for specific projects. The opportunity presents participating schools with a supplemental resource to help them design initiatives that align with the Blueprint for Progress.
