2007-2008

An organizational meeting was held on June 19, 2007. The first task of the committee was to discuss the current
BCPS Telecommunications Policy and Rules in terms of history, concerns, emergingtechnologies and their
use
(video conferencing, video production, podcasting, online learning environments, security systems, web-based
accessible student grades), intellectual property, family privacy and student photographs/names, current
and related legislation, related COMAR, and implementation of the policy and rule.
