Before a teacher-in-training
begins an internship, the intern will need to sign an Acceptable
Use Policy. This will be filed with the other temporary employees'
sheets in the school's technology liaison's office.
BCPS maintains
an official web site, and there are links to many schools on
the site. Policies for publication on a school's web site appear
in the Permission
to Publish Intellectual Property on the Internet or BCPS Intranet
form.
Anyone wishing
to publish students' photographs must first consult the school's
Webmaster, who follows the Webmaster
Roles and Responsibilities. Obtain permission with the Permission
to Publish Student Group Photograph or Video on the Internet
or BCPS form.
Before a student
can appear on The Education Channel, a Parent/Guardian/Student
Consent and Release Agreement for an Educational Channel Production
must be signed.
To participate
in distance learning, students must complete a Consent
and Release Agreement for the Maryland Interactive Distance Learning
Network.
Student interns must
obtain permission to use copyrighted information (both print
and electronic) with the Copyright
Permission Request.
