Searching the Destiny Library Catalog

Open a web browser and type http://destiny.bcps.org/ or click here

When the Destiny screen appears choose your school and click on its name.

You can search your school's catalog by simply clicking on the catalog tab. However to experience the true power of Destiny, login using your BCPS user id and login. Logging in gives you the ability to create personal resource lists.

Type your keywords in the find box and click the button underneath it for the type of search you want to do.

Destiny returns a list of results. To see more details about a particular item, click on the title.

The title details page gives you the essential information about the item including subject headings, call number, the items status (available or checked out)

Clicking on the book cover will open a new window which gives further information about the book which might include reviews, table of contents, and annotation. Close the window to return to the Title Details screen.
