| From your school's home page you can begin searching b clicking the Catalog tab. The true power of Destiny can be accessed by logging in with your BCPS user id and password from the link in the upper right. This allows you to create your own resource lists. | |
| From the regular catalog search page, choose Destiny Quest from the menu on the left. | |
| The Destiny Quest home page includes several other features besides the standard and advanced search options. The Top 10 Books checked out lets you see what others are checking out. In the center you can see the resource lists that have been compiled and you can also see new items in the library. | |
| As you type your search words in the Find box, Quest will make suggestions as you type. You can choose one of the suggestions by clicking on it with your mouse or continue typing your search words and click go. | |
| Your results come back to you as book covers and icons. | |
| If you roll your mouse over one of the book covers, you get a pop-up which gives you information about the book including reviews, call number, and description. | |
| Clicking on a book brings up a window with more detailed information about the book, reviews, status (in or out), call number, suggestions for similar books, and more. |
