Now that you have created your poems, you are ready
to put together your own page for your class's Poet-Pourri Anthology!
You will need to consider the design of your page
in order to make the page visually appealing to your audience
--- the other class members.
Elements that must be included on your anthology
page:
- The poet's name in a prominent place.
- The original poem (or the stanzas) by your author that you
chose to imitate.
- Your imitation of that poem.
- Your biographical poem about your author.
- A brief constructed response in which you explain what poetic
devices and techniques you used in your biographical poem.
- Your name as the author of the poems on that page.
- At least one graphic, photograph, or drawing to represent
your author or one of the themes of your poems.
- A layout for the page that is attractive and visually appealing.
