Should "school choice" alternatives to traditional public education be continued and expanded in Maryland?

Standard 9: The teacher is a reflective practitioner who continually evaluates the effects of his/her choices and actions on others (students, parents, and other professionals in the learning community) and who actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally.

  • Students will evaluate characteristics and patterns of schools as organizations, including issues pertaining to operations.

Learners use skills, resources, and tools to:

Skills 1.1.1 Follow an inquiry-based process in seeking knowledge in curricular subjects, and make the real-world connection for using this process in own life.
