Teacher's Guide

We All Grow and  Change

 Scenario

When you are a baby, you need help with many things.  You learn how to walk, how to talk, and how to eat with a spoon.

As you grow, you change in many ways.  You become taller and stronger.  You run and climb and swim.  You learn to read and think big thoughts!

Animals also grow and change after they are born.  Some animals begin as babies.  Other animals start inside an egg.  A few animals even transform as they grow from one life stage to another!

Click on the butterfly below to learn more about one interesting example.

We are going to research another animal, the frog, who grows and changes.  Then we will create multimedia presentations to teach our friends in Kindergarten about how we all grow and change!

How do the ways frogs grow and change compare and contrast with the ways people grow and change?
