Locate information from authoritative and reliable resources using the following search terms:
- Internet safety
- cybersafety
- cybercrime
- online safety
- Internet security
- ethical use
- online habits
Remember that you can also combine these terms for more effective searching, as in this search string:
"instant messaging " teens safety
Also, use the HELP portal for each database to learn more about effective search strategies. Once you retrieve your results,a good strategy is to sort the articles by reading level, especially if you find the articles difficult to understand.
