Step Five: Final Synthesis and Evaluation

Synthesis is the act of pulling your research and ideas together to form a new whole.

  • Do you have a fairly complete understanding of what a fractal is?
  • Have you answered all of your questions?
  • Do you have enough information about the history of fractals?
  • Do you understand how a fractal is made?
  • Can you give a 15 minute presentation that is well organized and concise?
  • Have you decided what kind of fractal you are going to use on your CD cover?

Evaluation means that you review the assessment components of this project and take a final look at the rubics that will be used for the portfolio and the CD cover.

Remember the compelling question guiding your research:

What essential information should you communicate to the representatives about FRACTALS?
