Check out the Chickens!

Did You Know?

Chickens graze as they eat, pecking the ground or their feed bin for bits of grain, greens, and small insects. They also need to eat grit (bits of dirt and stone) to help them digest their food.

Can you name an animal (other than a chicken) which lays eggs ?

Chickens spend most of their time grazing, roosting, and laying eggs. Even though they have wings, they rarely fly. They are not very active animals.
