Differentiation  and  Extension Activities		Use computer programs such as KidPix or Microsoft Word to create the booklet. Work in small groups with an instructional assistant for those students requiring individual help. Use "buddies" at the computer, pairing strong readers with those needing help. Create group booklets, assigning strong readers  to a group to serve as leaders. Create a student version of "Something About the Author" by having students research more than one author. Create a PowerPoint presentation. Create a display of dePaola works. Invite students to write reviews or create booktalks about their favorite dePaola work.
