The President of the United States needs your help in creating a product that informs United States citizens about important American Symbols, like the bald eagle and the Liberty Bell. Your products will be displayed at the famous Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration at the White House.

How would you explain why American Symbols are important to people living today?

First, you will need to build some background knowledge about American Symbols.

As a participant of the Fireworks Celebration Committee, you will create a Voicethread, Animoto, PowerPoint, flipchart, or poster explaining the importance of one of the following symbols:

  • American Flag
  • Statue of Liberty
  • The National Anthem
