Focus Question: How do individuals and groups of organisms interact with each other and their environment?

Give three examples of predator/prey relationships that can be observed on the shoreline.	Use organisms found at the shoreline to explain the food chain.	Use examples of organisms found at the shoreline to explain how producers, consumers and decomposers interact in the ecosystem.	Briefly describe an example of the competition for space, food, and water among organisms at the shoreline.	What is the normal range for temperature? Turbidity? Salinity? Wind speed?
How would a decrease in the prey population impact the other animals of the shoreline?	Choose one consumer at the shoreline and explain what would happen if the producers died.	How do changes in the relationships between consumers, producers, and decomposers impact the shoreline?	How does the competition for space, food, and water impact the shoreline?
