Do a keyword search in one of these BCPS Databases:
CultureGrams Secondary
  • Select World Edition, then select your assigned country from the pull-down menu.
  • Use the navigation bar on the left to select a section
    related to your assigned cultural element.

SIRS Discoverer

  • Click on Countries or Cultures from the Browse Subject Tree section.
  • Select Country Facts or Culture Facts from the navigation bar on the right.
  • Scroll through the Country list to select your assigned country.
  • Skim the article for information related to your assigned cultural element.

  • Do a keyword search in the Automated Library Catalog to find other nonfiction and reference books about your assigned country or cultural element.
  • Check the indexes of print and CD ROM encyclopedias for articles about assigned country.
  • Use indexes, tables of contents, and headings/subheadings in nonfiction and reference books to locate information related to your specific cultural element.

  • Do a keyword search in the BCPL Catalog to locate additional resources, including both print and non-print resources such as audio CDs or videos.
