Volunteer Recruitment Strategies and Manual

Purpose Team members will explore and devise a plan for parental and community involvement in the school library media program at Windsor Mill Middle School. This is an excellent strategy to support student achievement, public relations, and helping with administrative tasks involved in managing the library media center.
Task Team members will investigate best practices in recruiting volunteers and develop a volunteer manual to guide them in assisting with library management tasks. Policies with regard to BCPS volunteers should be included in the manual.
