PTD and Gifted and Talented

What is the Relationship Between PTD and Gifted and Talented Education Programs and Services? During PTD experiences children may demonstrate potential or advanced learning capabilities. Classroom teachers select differentiated materials and instructional strategies based on learning strengths and development. Teachers document PTD experiences on a PTD Behavioral Checklist which becomes part of each child’s cumulative record. This serves as a data source for school-based Gifted and Talented Education Referral & Review Teams.
