Winner of Telly Award

With Math Homework Helpers, children call the shots. This live call-in show enables students to get help with their math questions — and even see the problems solved on their TV screens. In each show, two Baltimore County teachers who specialize in math — one from a primary school and one from a secondary school — answer students’ math questions. And the show’s three mascots make learning fun.

For Baltimore County Public Schools, always learning more means more effective instruction. The continuity in math instruction between classroom lessons, math clubs at school, and Math Homework Helpers on TV helps reinforce important math concepts, and, more importantly, gives students a greater opportunity for success.
