The award-winning High School Sports Scene highlights the student-athletes and athletic programs of the Baltimore County Public Schools. This half-hour monthly program:

• Showcases a different high school each month
• Features stories on that school’s athletic program
• Profiles outstanding male and female athletes
• Features interviews with student athletes and their coaches
• Highlights topics and initiatives important to interscholastic sports in Baltimore County
• Relates expert advice on training, nutrition, and injury prevention

Student Reporters Gain Experience in Broadcast Journalism

In Baltimore County Public Schools, we strive to introduce students to more of the world every day. High School Sports Scene provides students who want to pursue a career in broadcast journalism with an invaluable learning opportunity. Currently, students from Towson High School serve as reporters on the program, accompany a camera crew to BCPS high schools, conduct interviews, write the feature stories that appear on the show, and serve as hosts for the program.
