The award winning High School Sports Scene highlights the student athletes and athletic programs of the Baltimore County Public Schools. This half hour monthly program showcases a different BCPS high school each month with:

• feature stories on the schools’ athletic program
• profiles of an outstanding male and female student athlete as well as
• expert advice on training, nutrition and injury prevention
• interviews with news making student athletes and coaches

High School Sports Scene also provides a valuable learning opportunity for students interested in the field of broadcast journalism.

Our reporters, students at Towson High, prepare interview questions, accompany camera crews on location, conduct interviews, write the feature stories for each month’s program, record narration and serve as hosts for the show under the supervision of professional staff.
