BCPS News gives viewers a first-hand, up-close view of the school system. When students from George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology walked the catwalk as part of their annual fashion show, BCPS News gave viewers a front-row seat. When Deep Creek Elementary School began a letter-writing campaign to residents of Oak Crest Village, BCPS News brought viewers into the relationships the kids created with their new pen pals. And BCPS News was there from the tip-off to the final whistle of Franklin Middle School and Franklin High School’s annual Battle for the Bell charity basketball game, which benefitted the Jimmy-V Foundation.
