Mission
The mission of the Department of Technology is to provide
information technology tools that assist and enhance the students'
education experience, enable communication internally within the
system and externally to parents and members of the community
and allow the various offices within the system to function in
an efficient and cost effective manner.
We encourage students, parents and members of the BCPS community to peruse our site to get a sense for the technology and services that are available to the schools in your neighborhood.
The Department of Technology provides the following support services for schools and offices:

- Hardware Inventory (computers and computer peripherals)
- Hardware Repair and Servicing
- Networking/LAN/WAN Management and Support
- E-mail Account Management
- Web Site Development
- Information Management Systems
- Technology Support Services for Technical Support on all of the above technology
