The purpose of the Maryland Business Education Association (MBEA) is:

• to promote and improve business education
• to foster professional spirit and group consciousness among business teachers
• to cooperate with local, state, sectional, and national agencies in the field of business education.
• to interpret business education, its values and requirements, to school administrators, to counselors, to boards of education, to businesspersons and to the public.
