Follow the directions below
to create a new profile in Outlook. Using these directions you can
set up multiple accounts on one computer.
If Outlook goes directly to the password screen when launching
you must first set up Outlook to prompt for a profile. The user
that has set up their profile on the machine must log onto their
account and then go to the Tools menu and select Options.
Click on the Mail Services tab and select the radio button
next to Prompt for a profile to be used. Then click on
OK and Exit and Log Off of Outlook.(see graphic
below)
Relaunch Outlook and you will see the graphic below. Click on
the New button. (See graphic below)
Check the box next to Microsoft Exchange Server then
click Next. (See graphic below)
Type a name for your profile. This will be the display name
that Outlook uses when selecting profiles. Click Next.
(See graphic below)
Fill in the fields as shown below. The exchange server address
is exchange.bcps.org. Put your user ID or mailbox name
(usually first initial and last name) in the mailbox field. Click
Next when done. (See graphic below)
Confirm that the No radio button is selected and then
click Next. (See graphic below)
Click the Finish button. (See graphic below)
You should now see your profile listed. Use the pull-down menu
to select your profile name if you don't. Click on OK.
(see graphic below)
You will now be prompted to provide your password. You may also
have to change the mailbox name to your own. (See graphic below)
You should now have access to your account. Please note that
when you launch Outlook you will need to select your name from
the profile list pull-down menu.
