Open Enrollment for
2008-2009 Plan Year
We’re pleased to provide this Web site to our employees
as a companion to the Employee Self Service web site to help you
plan and prepare for Open Enrollment this year. The Employee Self
Service web site is where your personal information is maintained
and will be the place you enroll for your coverage. On this web
site, you’ll
find general information on what you need to do before you enroll,
a step-by-step guide on how to enroll, and 2008 plan changes.
We encourage you to closely review the general information first
and spend time on the plan changes that affect you. Then, take
action on what you need to do before you enroll, so when it’s
time for you to do so, your experience will be fast and easy!
Open Enrollment gives you the annual opportunity to make changes
to your benefit elections.
Open Enrollment will be held:
Wednesday, May 7, 2008 – Wednesday, June 4, 2008
Beginning May 7, you will be able to enroll:
- Via the Employee Self Service web site,
https://intranet.bcps.org
, or
- By submitting a paper enrollment form to The Office of Employee
Benefits & Retirement.
Please note that you may only make changes to
your elections from May 7 through June 4, 2008.
The deadline for making changes during Open Enrollment is Wednesday,
June 4, 2008.
