Baltimore County Public Schools is pleased to provide this resource to assist you, our employees, with your planning and preparation for Open Enrollment this year. On this web site, you will find information on: (1) what you need to do prior to enrolling, (2) a step-by-step guide on how to enroll, and (3) any 2012 plan changes. We encourage you to spend time closely reviewing the general information and plan changes before you enroll. By preparing for your enrollment, your experience will be fast and easy!

Open Enrollment gives you the annual opportunity to make changes to your benefit elections. Open Enrollment will be held October 17 – November 18, 2011
Beginning on October 17, you will be able to enroll:
- By submitting a paper enrollment form to The Office of Benefits, Leaves, & Retirement.
OR
- On-line by utilizing ESS. Changes to medical, dental, vision and LTD can be accomplished using ESS. Employee Self-Service (ESS) On-Line Enrollment Instructions.
Please note that you may only make changes to your elections from October 17 through November 18, 2011.
The deadline for making changes during Open Enrollment is November 18, 2011.
