The 2008-2009 Middle River Rotary Club Scholarship

Who may apply: Baltimore County Public Schools 12th grade student currently or previously enrolled in an alternative program during the 2008-2009 school year who plans to enroll as a full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate at an independent college or university in Maryland for the 2009-2010 school year.

How to apply: Student should apply by completing the 2008-2009 Alternative Education Scholarship Application Packet. Student should also complete the Middle River Rotary Club Application.

Eligibility: Must be a graduating 12th grade student enrolled in Baltimore County Public Schools Alternative Education program. Student must live in one of the following zip codes: Essex-21221, Middle River- 21220, Chase- 21027, White Marsh- 21162, Dundalk- 21222, Edgemere- 21219. Student must attend a meeting of the Middle River Rotary Club at a date suitable to the student.

Award amount: The award will be a one time $500 scholarship which must be used toward the student’s college education.
