The Elks Vocational Scholarship

Who may apply: Baltimore County Public Schools 12th grade student currently or previously enrolled in an Alternative Education Center or Program during the 2008-2009 school year who plans to enroll full-time in a community college or trade/technical school within the continental United States for the 2009-2010 school year.

How to apply: Student should apply by completing the 2008-2009 Alternative Education Scholarship Application Packet and the Elks Vocational Scholarship attachment.

Eligibility: Must be a graduating 12th grade student enrolled in a Baltimore County Public Schools Alternative Education program during the 2008-2009 school year. (You do not have to be presently enrolled.)

Award amount: The award will be a $1000 scholarship which will be awarded to one student and must be used towards the student’s college tuition and fees. There are 10 awards given yearly.

Application deadline: Elks Application Packet and materials must be mailed to the address found on the application no later than March 20, 2009. Please submit the Alternative Education Application packet by April 3, 2009 to:
