The 2007-2008 Christopher Adams Scholarship

Who may apply: Baltimore County Public Schools 12th grade student currently or previously enrolled in an Alternative Education Center or Program during the 2007-2008 school year who plans to enroll as a full-time or part-time, degree-seeking undergraduate at a 2-year or 4-year public or independent college or university in Maryland for the 2008-2009 school year
How to apply: Student should apply by completing the 2007-2008 Alternative Education Scholarship Application Packet. Student must also submit an essay of at least 500 words on one of the following topics.
- Describe the merits of Evening High School as it relates to you. i.e. How have you benefited from attending Evening High School?
- What is the quality in you that others admire? How do you use or have you used that quality to help others?
Eligibility: Any senior that has attended, or currently is attending Alternative Education Evening High School within the Baltimore County Public School System (The scholarship money must be used toward college expenses i.e., books, tuition.)
Award amount: The award will be a $500 scholarship which must be used towards the student’s college education.
