Alternative Education Scholarships

The 2008-2009 CCBC - Catonsville, Dundalk, and
Essex Scholarship

Who may apply: Baltimore County Public Schools 12th grade student currently or previously enrolled in an Alternative Education Center or Program during the 2008-2009 school year who plans to enroll as a full-time or part-time, degree-seeking undergraduate at any of the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) locations for the 2009-2010 school year.

How to apply: Students should apply by completing the 2008-2009 Alternative Education Scholarship Application Packet and the CCBC application form. Click here to see a Programs of Study list.

Eligibility: Students who are enrolled in a Baltimore County Public Schools GED or Evening High School program during the 2008-2009 school year (Students do not have to be presently enrolled.)

Award amount: The award will be a $350 scholarship which must be used towards the student’s college education.
