Alternative Education Scholarships

The 2007-2008 Dr. Betty Ann Young Scholarship

Who may apply: Baltimore County Public Schools 12th grade student currently or previously enrolled in an Alternative Education Center or Program during the 2007-2008 school year who plans to enroll full-time or part-time in a college in Maryland for the 2008-2009 school year

How to apply: Student should apply by completing the 2007-2008 Alternative Education Scholarship Application Packet and the Dr. Betty Ann Young attachment.

Eligibility: Must be a graduating 12th grade student enrolled in a Baltimore County Public Schools Alternative Education program during the 2007-2008 school year (You do not have to be presently enrolled.)

Award amount: The award will be a $500 scholarship which will be awarded to four students and must be used towards the student’s college education.
