Middle School:
The academic curriculum follows the outcomes and indicators of the
Baltimore County Public Schools Essential Curriculum. Instruction
in English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Writing, and
Art is thematic and hands-on. Class membership averages 7:1 and
is multi-graded.
High School:
The academic program, based on the Baltimore County Public Schools
Essential Curriculum, is individualized to meet and maintain each
students' comprehensive school schedule as closely as possible.
In addition to the requirements for graduation, students participate
in an adventure education program, which provides opportunities
for academically integrated real-life experiences. It also affords
the opportunity for students to complete the 75 hours of state required
student service.
Basic skills and GED preparation class, vocational assessment and exploration, and social and emotional support are also available to disconnected, out-of-school youth.
